You got voluntold. Now what? You Got Volunteered is the complete, done-for-you survival plan for the nervous parent who somehow ended up coaching a U6, U7, or U8 soccer team — with zero experience and even less idea where to start. No soccer background required. None at all. Inside is an entire season you can simply run. Eleven chapters: a friendly crash course in coaching little kids, then ten ready-to-go weekly practice plans, each laid out minute by minute. Every week tells you exactly what to bring, what to do, what to say — and, crucially, what to do when it all goes sideways (it will, and that's completely normal). You also get 40+ simple, fun games and drills that need almost no setup; a repeatable practice template you'll have memorized by week three; game-day survival tactics; copy-and-paste parent messages; cheat sheets; a glossary of soccer words you can fake; and honest, funny, been-there reassurance on every page. The whole philosophy is refreshingly simple: keep the kids safe, keep them smiling, and get them tons of touches on the ball. Do that, and you can't fail — no whistle-barking or fancy tactics required. Written for reluctant volunteer parent-coaches who'd rather not look clueless on the field, You Got Volunteered hands you everything you need to survive the season, look like a hero, and maybe — just maybe — actually enjoy it.
